It is really unclear how Australia's far-right, anti-immigrant and pro-race-hate media organisations and political parties are going to make violence less likely, rather than more likely.

It is also remarkable how little scrutiny they're facing for their reactions to Bondi.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems that two years of weaponised genocidal mass murder in Gaza has probably made global political violence and terror *MORE* likely, not *LESS* likely

And that opposing mass death makes you anti-terrorism, not pro-terrorism

Jillian Segal is a danger to social cohesion. Claiming that public support for Palestine directly enabled this terror is beyond vile. People who are against genocide in Palestine are also against the murder of Jewish people and anyone else. Segal is a pernicious vulture.

Solidarity is appalled by the horrific mass shooting targeting the Jewish Hannukah event at Bondi Beach yesterday. While the exact motives for the attack remain unclear, this is clearly an antisemitic attack.
Bondi beach attack no excuse for smearing Palestine movement – Solidarity Online
The mass shooting targeting the Jewish Hannukah event at Bondi Beach is horrific. But already there are attempts to use it to smear the pro-Palestine movement and further demonise Arabs and Muslims.

It is true that all men never age beyond being 14 year olds. Some of us just manage to pretend hard enough that you can't always tell.
My better half, against her best instincts, decided to leave me to my own devices for the weekend. I'm not sure if I should build her a new orchid garden to surprise her when she gets home, or train the dogs to doggy pile her on command when she goes to bed. She'd laugh at both.

Instead of praising Trump the media should be asking why it took him so long & why he waited for the US & Israel to become completely isolated from the world for him to lift a finger when there was an obvious genocide going on. Trump & Netanyahu will forever be war criminals.

It troubles me that I’m starting to feel the same way about Bluesky that I do about the UK. Like: it sounds great, and some of the people I know are great, but the leadership is making some weird choices and I’m a bit worried it may all be over in a couple of years.

The answer is empathy and compassion.

One thing that comes through awfully clearly in these ICE videos is how many of these goons gravitated toward the job because being able to assault people with impunity is a big thrill for them.

Deeply concerned about the safety of those on the flotilla.

We know the government will try ignore it - it's really important we all speak up and raise our voices.

This is a group of people delivering baby food to Gaza and the Government must intervene to ensure their safety.

I have no words for this.

I only share it as a record for the day that every complicit party is held to account, if that day ever comes.

I also share it to show solidarity with these Drs & the people in Palestine.
