Once again, one of the most consistently replicated findings in the history of experiments is that giving people cash with zero strings attached has massive social benefits for those receiving the cash as well as the community around them

Twitter pays people based on engagement (views, retweets, comments, etc). It appears that many MAGA accounts are based abroad and they use AI technology to generate low-effort rage bait.
My guess is that this will get worse as AI tech improves. For instance, fake videos of minorities doing crime.

1/ I saw a «SaaS influencer» (apparently it’s a thing) say something a few weeks ago that has stuck with me.
Basically, the economics of «AI» doesn’t scale like SaaS.
With Software as a Service new customers become increasingly cheaper to service, once you’ve built it the added cost is marginal.
