Seeing A Fish Called Wanda on campus while in college. The stage the screen (it was a temporary theater) was on had a phone that kept ringing. One guy jumped up on stage and ripped the phone out of the wall after that happened a few times. He got a standing ovation.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?
Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

I'm freaked out but I'm also minding my breath and walking a lot and trying to look other people in the eyes. I was part of a gathering in a bookstore in our #MemoryLaw and #ForcedBirth state just last night (which was encouraging). I'm staying vigilant.
