I can confirm this as a soon to be laid off tech worker. The AI we’ve been implementing is a joke, but leaders love to pretend it has validity. It’s mostly an excuse to cut jobs for “shareholder value” and move jobs off shore or to contractors they pay a smaller wage to with no benefits.
