I made 🧶 a hat for my sister but then I hated how stiff it turned out, so the day she came over to get it, I ripped it all out and made a different one which is a lovely thing about crochet
I did enjoy the herringbone stitch

One of my sisters has kids around the same age as mine, and so when I'm shopping for presents, I'll think wow, that gift looks loud, annoying, and destructive...so yeah, I'll definitely get it

And I'm so serious, I completely forgot about his political writings, I'm over here thinking, "Wow, there are a lot more syntacticians here than I thought"

I am so desperately sad for my country because truly, I do love the country itself and it makes me all the more angry
My nephew has gone from being a flight-risk to, yes ok, he does elope but he might just drive the toy jeep down the road to watch the neighbors dogs and slips back in the house before we realize, but he abandons the toy jeep and it's very heavy, so my sister has to drive it back a block herself

Getting my ARFID-kid to drink the stuff to prep for a full endoscope etc. Has been a journey.
Understandably, predictably, he does not like it. Does not want to drink it. And as always, I underestimate how much effort and time everything will take
