Kimmel didn't celebrate Kirk's death, and he explicitly criticized people who did. He criticized MAGA for being a bunch of vultures picking Kirk's remains. But in a much nicer way.
White House Faith Director Jenny Korn: "They've shown their evil. And thank goodness for companies now who are firing nurses and teachers and people like Jimmy Kimmel, because people should not be able to celebrate others' deaths in a very public way and the keep their jobs."

Don’t let them tell you Jimmy Kimmel’s show was yanked because of his comments about the Charlie Kirk assassination. Two months ago, after Colbert’s show was cancelled, Trump posted: “I hear Jimmy Kimmel is next.” The Kirk thing is just a pretext. This is all part of their plan.

It's important to keep pointing out: Jimmy Kimmel didn't say anything about Charlie Kirk. He criticized Trump and his MAGA freaks for gleefully exploiting Kirk's death. That's what got him suspended. And that's what makes this different and even more dangerous.

The criminal in the Oval Office called for Kimmel to be gone.

Carr, Trump’s boot-licking FCC chair, made it happen.

Where was he a week ago when Brian Kilmeade of Fox suggested killing homeless people by involuntary lethal injection?

Antoni Gaudí’s vision for the Sagrada Família, a church that’s been under construction for nearly 150 years, was never universally liked. George Orwell called the church “one of the most hideous buildings in the world.”
Is the Sagrada Família a Masterpiece or Kitsch?
In the century since Antoni Gaudí died, his wild design has been obsessively realized, creating the world’s tallest church—and an endlessly debated icon.

The motivation of the man who shot Charlie Kirk isn't clear (although he's probably mentally unstable--duh). What is clear is it was another example of American gun violence.

We have a bit of a natural experiment here. Compare the tone, quantity and duration of Charlie Kirk coverage with that of the two Dem lawmakers gunned down in their homes in Minnesota 6 months ago. May be revealing.
