I know who Nus Ghani MP is - not because we always agree - but because she’s been serving her constituency (as well as lewks) since 2015.

Who the hell is Lucy White?!

Ah, a quick google search reveals her as a rentagob for GB ‘news.’

I know which one is qualified to chair the budget debate.

Nus Ghani MP - the Deputy Speaker - moved to the UK as a small child. She has been elected by the voters in Wealden in 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2024

More outright racism from the regular GB News & Talk TV contributor Lucy White - who previously called (on GB News) for all Muslims to leave Britain

I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

Will Andrew Battenberg soon be spotted shopping at Tesco Kings Lynn, holding his plastic bag with a microwave lasagne and a 4-pack of Special Brew? Alternatively there's always his favourite Pizza Express- also in Kings Lynn? Or even an Uber to Michelin-starred Morston Hall?

Very good stuff from Sadiq Khan at the Labour Irish society event. He said there are two reasons he loves coming to Labour Conference.

“One is the reception at the Labour Party Irish Society reception.

“The second is to get away from all the Sharia Law in London”

The year of Our Lord, 2025, & a former British PM is championing the views of a Neo-Nazi, as he attacks students for not genuflecting to fascism. I think, if we were to believe in horror movies, the flatulent & incandescent corpse of Churchill must be searching for Johnson now…
This isn't even close to being the most unhinged thing in the Daily Mail today

For the next four weeks, we are lifting the 9.30am rule on older and disabled people’s bus passes.

We hope it will help people over the summer as well as provide valuable data on whether we have the capacity and finances to make it permanent.

Please help spread the word! 🙏🏻

My take - a series of wrong turns/misfortunes since 1979:

- Election of Thatcher
- Death of John Smith
- Supporting the Iraq War
- GFC 2008
- Austerity
- 2015 election result
- Brexit
- Covid

Eight body blows in 46 years, some of them just bad luck, some self-inflicted.
When did Britain start to go wrong? In @NewStatesman @georgeeaton looks at our polling of when the public think our turn for the worst was. Brexit tops the list, but different voters disagree. Reform voters most likely to pick Blair’s election as putting Britain on wrong track

Have a word with Shelagh Fogerty - she just said on air, regarding the new asylum news story, "the Government spent 2 years....". Make it clear every time it was the PREVIOUS govt.that started this mess & wasted £b's. The public are very quick to blame Labour at the moment.

James you must explore/research more increasing "associste' job titles as your Dr.is currently saying. Public don't know anything about this but often they're not being seen by a trained doctor/ nurse. Associates aren't allowed to prescribe drugs/request scans - but they are.

Not just for our nuclear industry and our country's energy security, but for jobs and investment in our town and county.

The green light for Sizewell C was a huge boost for local people and businesses, but we are only just getting started.
