When I’m on here yap yap yapping about merch I’m selling or needing monthly donors or whatever, it’s so I can run events like this for projects like the native plant project, which will distribute 10,000 packets of native plant seeds across the city this winter/spring. The system is working 😎
45 people out to the native plant prep party tonight and packaged a collective 3400 packets of native seeds and folded 200 zines. Absolutely killer work by this crew.

The vast majority of Australians, everyone I've spoken to, my Jewish friends, my Muslim friends, want to just be good to one another in this moment, and avoid inflaming the endless blame cycle.

A loud minority want otherwise. Unfortunately they're among the loudest in the nation
The press has an important role to play in stabilising the nation, by, eg., highlighting examples of unity and cooperation between the Jewish and Muslim communities. As it stands, they all seem to be beating the drums of racial tension. It is irresponsible and it must stop.

The Albanese govt is considering an East Coast gas reservation policy. And ok... but how about putting a 25% tax of gas exports so we stop giving it away for free?

The big reason electricity cost so much is gas. Gas is the most expensive form of electricity generation (aside from battery) and yet often determines the price.

Tax gas exports, raise $17bn, help compensate households and also fund the transition to zero emissions

Extinction is forever.

Act before it’s too late.
Wild mammals make up less than 6 per cent of the total mammal biomass on Earth, dwarfed by humans and livestock. The children born today face the very real possibility of a world emptied of much of its wildlife. This is a catastrophic legacy.
