How are human brain regions connected? Are the connecting axons thicker and more myelinated the longer these connecting fibers are?

In our recent paper we find that indeed, they are! Read the skeetorial below ⬇️⬇️⬇️

#LISH25 day 10 ushered in by Claudia Gerri from @mpi-cbg.de introducing us to the wonderful world of mammalian early embryo development, implantation and #placenta interactions. Showing light sheet data from ex #LoPaT - Michi Burkon 💕. Walk-up song with Italian flair came with sweets.

It’s Sunday, but #LISH25 goes on with Matteo Rauzi presentation on using light sheet to study #Morphogenesis of #flies and #sea_urchins. Matteo had not one but two walk-up songs! #RockyBalboa 🥊

This was magical — @loicaroyer.bsky.social live on piano @mpi-cbg.de. Made my day! It’s always amazing to learn about unexpected talents apart from the amazing science.

For the day five of #LISH25 Jan Huisken comes home, to @mpi-cbg.de, to show us what his latest project, the #Flamingo microscope can do. Walk up song featured stunning photography of birds - all taken by Jan who is the imager all the way.

My undergrad Inword got some really cool data this week, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate #fluorescencefriday than to share it. She injected oligomeric amyloid-B (red) and it caused these pulses of tracer leakage throughout the brain (turquoise) 1.5 days later. #BBB #zebrafish

#legoptical Episode 3: An italian twist. In 1997, Franco Quercioli and his colleagues published in SPIE an article entitled: “Play optics with Lego” introducing for the first tie the use of LEGO bricks in setting up an optical instrument!

As for the parts list - I could only find something similar... Unfortunately I can't find who's the original designer of this particular MOC
sunnydai.bsky.social
We saw this cute mini MOC design online and my friend hunted down all the LEGO bricks and re-created it 😊 (from the parts in this picture). Saw lots of new amazing designs while searching for this picture!! Even saw a mini Blaze

Loving this series!! Got to show off this miniMOC that my friend built 😊🥰
