This seems like a bad sign.
The City CFO says the real estate market for $3 million+ homes is actually holding up pretty well. Even after council hiked land transfer taxes in 2024, the number of homes sold above that threshold increased by 32%. So far in 2025, about 800 "luxury" homes sold — about the same as year previous.

Jivani just wants PPs job. I mean he’s got the hubris! Imagine thinking that a Liberal PMO will give a zero experience opposition MP such an important role. Or maybe he knows this and is just full of it. Jivani is a mortgage salesman, “ofc sir, you can totally afford it. Just sign right here.”

I’m just going to tell the story. Back in 2000 I was volunteering for the Gore campaign when he came along with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Alfre Woodard and Dule Hill to a GOTV event here in MN. He ended up sitting down across from me stuffing his envelopes.

I’m having a hard time comprehending the news about Rob Reiner. All I can articulate right now is how much I admired him, how much I enjoyed his work, and how thoroughly shocked I am hearing about what happened. My favorite superpower in any human is the art of storytelling. He was a master.

This is funny and all…I guess? Sure, the LRT opening problems are ridiculous, but a quality marathoner will always beat any street transit line? The streetcar has to stop & load/unload. He’d beat the Dundas car too.
