the basic premise of these arguments is that January 6 did not constitute an attack on constitutional government. they do not make sense outside of that assumption.

Interestingly zero people got kicked out of schools for advocating the entire Mideast be turned into a sheet of glass post 9/11. Was a pretty common talking point too.

I don’t remember any uni presidents getting fired either.
I appreciate the idealism. But the problem is that speech codes that are ambiguous and based on subsequent consensus are particularly rife for abuse.

How does someone who sincerely believes the Palestinians are victims of genocide decide what they’re allowed to say in your system?
