Small Rain
Review I’ve been eyeballing Greenwell’s bluecovered Small Rain since the hardback hit my local bookstore’s shelves in 2024. I felt it reaching out for me, I could tell it would be sad and I didn’t kno...

This Office like most of HUD is closed thanks to the GOP, but neither democrats nor republicans have properly funded public housing programs at the level they need or needed for decades.
I held a rally with of Mitchel Houses, calling on HUD to provide emergency funding to restore the partially collapsed building and to re-house displaced families.

We cannot separate the collapse of a public housing building from the collapse of federal funding for public housing.

Jesus Christ, how are you so unbelievably bad at this?

A deeply unpopular president is recklessly destroying our government, wrecking our democracy, covering up pedophilia and now threatening to use military force against our own citizens but you're tsk-tsking about protecting healthcare?
The Trump administration’s threat to deploy troops in Portland is unlawful.

Here’s a thought.

Focus on protecting the healthcare of the American people.

Chilling article. The first bombing was covered, the second a drip. I hadn't heard of the third at all. Will anyone bother offering consequences, or even reporting the fourth, fifth, sixth?

Cass Sunstein’s new book “On Liberalism” feels like it was written in 1990, or maybe 1960. Does it say anything to inspire passion for liberalism? My critiques here: tbindc.substack.com/p/a-critique... #books #criticism #liberalism #politics #booksky #essay #literature #substack
A Critique of Cass Sunstein's "On Liberalism"
Cass Sunstein hopes to reassert what it means to be a liberal. Does it only have history and vocabulary, or does he have a vision for liberalism for our tomorrows?

This “explicit” is a weird editorial choice. The constitution gives the president no power over this at all. It’s not ambiguous.
