Basically, we have a lot of young people that have only ever known a world flattened by viral content, where everything is constantly getting noticeably worse all the time, and understand that mass violence gets the same reaction that a meme or shitpost does and view them as basically the same thing
It feels like this is becoming a more common mass shooter profile: Someone who's interested in politics but not as a vehicle to express clear values or a coherent viewpoint. He just wants to mock anyone who takes it seriously.
