Stop calling them ICE agents. They’re not actual law enforcement. They are thugs-for-hire recruited from the Proud Boys, J6ers, and others. They are violent predators given the freedom to run wild against the people they have demonized. Every one of them must be brought to justice when this is over.

All of @hcrichardson.bsky.social’s posts are important, but this one feels particularly so. This administration’s embrace of Nazi German policies is becoming more blatant by the day. Most of us ordinary Americans wouldn’t catch the subtle references. I appreciate how this newsletter calls that out.

While we’re rightly distracted by Epstein headlines, Trump is torching the rule of law. He’s packed the DOJ with cronies, bullied judges, ignored rulings—and now he’s punishing the press. This isn’t just corruption. It’s authoritarianism in real time.

Reports begin to emerge regarding the inhumane conditions under which people are being detained at the Florida Everglades concentration camp.

• One meal per day
• No showers
• Maggot-infested food
• Lights on 24/7

These are known torture tactics.

Many detainees are legal residents.

Imagine if Biden mentioned in a press availability that he had no idea who from his admin had ordered pause of missions and ammo to Ukraine.

Alex Thompson would be popping out 4 posts (stories) a day and Tapper/CNN would swarm on it for days.
During a Cabinet meeting, when President Trump was asked who ordered the pause of missiles and ammunition shipment to Ukraine last week, he said he didn't know.
