@lionsledbydonkeys.bsky.social I appreciate all the tangential references to Maine in the L'Escalade episode, but long for the day we don't only reference Stephen King as our spokesperson. Miss Rachel is right there!

I would argue people who hated Predator: Badlands should also hate Honor Among Thieves. Someone dared to take an IP and make it a fun and exciting adventure story instead of a slasher or hard-core horror film.

You can make a grimdark D&D or Predator film, and also make both something more Jungian.

That is a brutally poor disallowed goal in extra time. Szczẹsny stuck his leg back in the way of the attacker's path to the ball. Club Brugge deserve the lead.

My review of appendicitis: an annoyingly mild yet simultaneously serious condition that can't decide what genre it wants to fall into. 6/10 would not choose to replay.

This guy is a fucking grifter. I saw people in my own subreddit lauding him as a hero for being briefly detained and cited by ICE.

The money he is raising will not be used to hurt the administration. Those kind of lawsuits don't work that way. You are shotgunning cash into a void.
Robby is a grifter. He has 3 active gofundme’s going on.

It feels weird to be reminded that there are genuinely wonderful people in the world by watching I Like Me, but goddammit John Candy was a unicorn.

I know @startthemachine.bsky.social has a real issue with a film when his tone dips into Fox Mulder territory.

I'm obviously not in favor of political violence but I'll be goddamned if I shed a tear for a man who made his entire career calling for that exact thing.

You dont have to have empathy for someone who had none and actively campaigned against that very basic concept of human emotion.

The great mistake of negative criticism of Alien Earth is not seeing the masterful sci-fi work done in a preexisting universe. It doesn't extend previous works. Rather it expounds on their broader concepts and foundations.

I really like Alien Earth so far. I think there are legit gripes about some of it, plot armor being one I agree with, but it is super fun and is doing something new. The problem is the weird section of Alien fans who want more content, but get super picky about every attempt to try something new.

My son has demanded Punkrocker by Teddybears ft. Iggy Pop every time we get in the car and therefore I believe I have succeeded as a parent.
