Okay, listen. We NEED to stop arguing about the salute. It was a nazi salute, Musk did it on purpose and he will not apologize for it. His autism isn’t an excuse because he has a lot of people around him that can keep his behavior in check. He’s had media training. Believe your eyes. #elonmusk

I’m not saying they did it on purpose but I am saying God’s timing was spot on when they released Wicked just saying. No wizard that there is or was is ever gonna bring me down??? No he won’t. It’s time to trust all of our instincts, close our eyes and leap. We can do this.

Somebody yelled at me for posting about Ganymede instead of /the state of things/ last night.

I know we’re (almost) all on the same page here, but a Bluesky without cute cats, science facts, and dumb jokes would be bad for everyone.

I think that the tweet genre of “this person (who might be a bot) had a bizarre opinion that made me think less of humanity and so the right thing by to do is screenshot it and show it to the largest number of people” is silly.

Things I saw in the Superman trailer:

A tear falling from his eye.
His trust in dogs.
Saying excuse me when in a crowd.
Protecting a child.
Inspiring people.
Catching the eye of a busy journalist.

In other words, empathy, compassion, bravery, and hope. Of course we’re inspired & already obsessed.

I cannot imagine a world without Sesame Street.

Grover. Bert. Ernie. Big Bird. Oscar. Snuffleupagus. Cookie Monster. The Count. Harry. Telly.

I think for many of us these are characters who exist somewhere between fantasy and reality, as they were there for us daily as we formed our sense of self.
