last week i remembered that macOS lets you set your own icons and that *I* have the power to delegitimize the professionalism of the software that runs on my machine, so here's a thread of the 16 new icons i've made so far
i really forgot how fun it was to just sit down and make art for myself :')

Parasocial relationships suck.
Just hits you into the feeling of "i wish i had a friend like this", but there is no way from here to there.
Social media makes it worse. Cause technically you can talk with all these people, but nothing good ever comes out of that.

So i spent the day trying to figure out while a certain new old stock wifi printer didn't work.
It kept printing the wrong colours.
I kept tweaking the setting.
Then the definitions.
Then the processing pipeline.
Then i went deeper and reverse engineered it's protocol and wrote my own driver.

When i was younger i used to be able to tell the day of the week of any date within a few years.
The spiral of years clicks, the months have marks on them, the days have colours.
Add the click of the year to the mark of the month to the colour of the day, and you get a day of the week.
