The vitriol against Bari Weiss is just thinly-veiled jealousy by people who rejoiced at "cancelling" her in 2020 and are furious she managed to get fabulously wealthy in an infamously brutal and low-paying industry.

One of the more incredible stories out of LA this year has been how a taco review blog became the best on-the-ground coverage of ICE raids in the city.

They do a dispatch every day, follow-up on the kidnapped people (which almost no media outlet has done), and fact-check government claims.

There has always been a small, noisy minority of gay people whose belief in gay rights boils down to "I shouldn't have to give up any of my prejudices because of who I am." And straight people in media have always fallen all over themselves to hire them.

Took my 9yo to the Life of a Showgirl film & they asked to leave after track 4 lol. It’s not even music videos; it’s lyric videos for each song where she doesn’t even lip sync, she just vamps in different outfits. I wish I was kidding.

Have been digging more into rhabdo and women's basketball just to get a sense of how weird Mitchell's case is. Between 2000-2019, just under 41,000 cases of rhabdo were diagnosed in the emergency department. Number that occurred in female basketball players: 0
