I think one thing people outside Minnesota don't understand is that after Good and Pretti were killed by feds while observing, the most normal people you could imagine have made peace with the fact that they could be next, and they are still out there because they say it's the right thing to do.
“If I am killed doing this, throw my body at the White House, martyr the shit out of me & raise hell. Do not be sad. Do not think I would do anything differently. I would do it over & over again — this is too important to sit down & shut up and not do anything.” www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...

Its always dumbfounded me why we don't put more engineers in Congress, especially for building stuff.

Also, nurses for healthcare. And teachers.
It should be a serious bipartisan goal to reduce the number of lawyers in Congress. More people from all walks of life and professions please.

She's a queen for letting everyone know. As for Trump and the rest of them:

Impeach, convict, remove, confiscate, imprison.
In an interview with NPR, Melinda French Gates confirmed that she ended her marriage with Bill Gates because of allegations contained in the Epstein files.

Impeach, convict, confiscate, remove, imprison. Him and all his co-conspirators. All of them.
1. Trump certainly wants to fully rig elections.
2. He has no actual plausible plan to do so.
3. We should absolutely take the threat very seriously and actively do what's possible to protect elections and democracy.
4. What's actually likely is success or failure at the margins; every bit counts.
The last time he started talking like this, his allies minimized the risks and we ended up with January 6. This time we must take him literally and seriously. These comments are a five-alarm fire for democracy. In a functioning republic, he would be impeached and removed from office today.

Dems must oush fornand allow prosecution of law enforcement who are needlessly violent when on the job. Otherwise, the worst of law enforcement become the Gestapo for enabling politicians.

The public, good police and good public servants deserve a community where bad cops get punished.
The "violent criminal illegal alien" that agents were pursuing when they killed Alex Pretti has been in the U.S. for two decades. He had a single misdemeanor conviction for disorderly conduct (domestic assault) eight years ago that was expunged from his record. He did not have a deportation order.
Agents were pursuing an immigrant when they killed Alex Pretti. Now, he shares his story.
"I was there. I saw everything," Jose Huerta Chuma, who remains in hiding, told CBS News.

I'm calling for him to be impeached, convicted, removed, imprisoned, and his corruption money confiscated.

Him and all of his co-conspirators. Including Musk.

They all must go!!
Trump is calling to “nationalize the voting”, which means he controls and oversees all elections.

You know what? These guys need to be completely disarmed. And possibly dressed like Mormon missionaries. That would be more appropriate.

This is sad, but good: Artists are refusing to normalize this idiocy, and instead of just commanding performances - which they can't do - the Trump people are closing it down and slinking away.
CNN is reporting the real reason Trump is closing the Kennedy Centre for two years is not for renovation: “the Kennedy Center does not have a 2026/2027 season. There would not have been any programming to announce."
February 2, 2026 at 8:49 PM
I look forward to paying for the repairs using his crypto bribe money while he rots in prison.
Q: Do you plan on tearing the Kennedy Center down and how much will all of the renovations cost?

TRUMP: Probably around $200 million. I'm not ripping it down. I'll be using the steel. So we're using the structure. We're using some of the marble.

I'm listening to a phenominal podcast series on the lead up to Hitler in 1933. They share perspectives of those living through it at the time. Things moved so fast, Germans often underestimated the dramatic changes just around the corner.

Terrifying, and fascinating.

Trump knows he can't win politically on the murder of Pretti, so he has to lie to try and claw back some of his remaining supporters' opinions.

Don't fall for it. Watch the videos. Pretti didn't have to die. Absolutely devastating outcome, for such a dumb policy.
Trump: “Agitator and, perhaps, insurrectionist, Alex Pretti’s stock has gone way down with the just released video of him screaming and spitting in the face of a very calm and under control ICE Officer, and then crazily kicking in a new and very expensive government vehicle, so hard and violent.”
