Replaced the hazard/turn signal relay and cabin air filter on my Honda, then swapped handlebars on the stately upright bicycle. Now that my most pressing transportation concerns have been addressed, I will trim back tomato vines for the compost

A crisp lovely day for a couple errands by bike. Sunday mornings in this part of Idaho it’s ok to use main roads because traffic is light enough you can dip into the street around non-connected sidewalks. Low-risk to life and limb.

I am unable to feel true joy, but little glib snatches of cartoon-like mirth seem like an almost-acceptable substitute
The problem isn't that everyone thinks they have to be funny online, the problem is that a lot of people's idea of a funny person is "coked-up clown who just found out his spouse is leaving him but still has to perform at an adult's birthday party."
