Secret dream career: writing the book based on the movie that is based on the book.

I talk with my hands and have literally flung my glasses off my face with enthusiasm. I too have never done a n@z! salute.
it's crazy, I've made a lot of spontaneous and/or enthusiastic arm motions in my life and yet, shockingly, none of them have ever been the Nazi salute, because I am aware of what that is and what it represents, because I am a goddamn adult who has taken at least one (1) history class

BOOKS WE LOVE! Something fun to explore, hooray
This is a great point. A while back, they made it so you can look at the entire thing over the entire time it's existed. Don't sleep on the books people loved in, say, 2020, when not everybody had books at top of mind.
NPR's 'Books We Love' is the best.

Love going back in the archives and finding some gems that are available on the Libby app without a 4 year wait.

Me: Stop it! Stop walking there!
Cat: *pauses*
Me: Let me badly upholster this!
Cat: *blinks, steps on everything*
Me: How are the feet missing?!
Cat: *indifferent to my new problem that is his fault*

The flavour of office supplies review I can really get behind
THIS is why you should always invest in a top quality post-it note. This one has been stuck to the sole of my boot from scarborough to Leeds, INCLUDING a 30 min walk.

That’s stickability!

AND THERE ARE MORE

I am delighted that hallmark movie season is nearly upon us
Since 2018, Hallmark has made these movies:

Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas

Time for You to Come Home for Christmas

Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas

Time for Them to Come Home for Christmas

Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas

Time for Her to Come Home For Christmas

I agree wholeheartedly with this take. People are allowed to change. Change career, change priorities, change lifestyles, change looks, …
There is a special place in the very depths of hell for the purveyors of those "this celebrity who isn't bothering anybody and hasn't wanted to be famous for decades looks bad now, we saw them in the street!" pieces that run now and then. Absolute depths.

From a glass negative from my collection. With a lot of the photos in my collection I love them not so much for the specific composition but simply the wonderful fact that someone loved this little cat enough to create this negative - a significant task - and then carefully store it for decades. ❤️

Life tip: Nobody is stopping you from putting a dot on the top of your USB cables

It takes 1 second and saves you trying both sides and somehow only plugging it in right when you look at it

This is absolutely normal.
There is no interesting new direction without getting a lil lost en route.
Normalize inconsistency in your art. Normalize not making every art piece super detailed and intricate. Normalize just creating art for the sake of it.

Good morning, Bluesky. Today’s #GoodMorningNews: a trial at Washington University’s school of medicine has shown great results for a vaccine that would prevent recurrence for a particularly aggressive form of breast cancer. It’s a small trial, but 3 years later 16/18 participants remain cancer free
