I keep wanting to like Google's NotebookLM but it just keeps letting me down every time I use it. Not being able to answer questions on errors it gives, short input prompt length, wrong answers, not following instructions. @anthropic.com Claude use of projects is just so much better

Kudos to the @anthropic.com team on the new 4.5 series of the Claude application. Nice job of tuning down the eagerness to proceed, the application seems to do more data gathering and exploration rather than just charging blindly ahead

Cursing is rarely a symbol of low class. It's often a mark of high authenticity.

Evidence: Swearing predicts higher rates of honesty and integrity. It signals a willingness to prize candor over courtesy.

A little profanity can show that you're being real and you do give a damn.

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Our problem isn't a lack of resources.

Our problem is ever-expanding inequality.

“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”

It costs a lot less to house people.

Crazy random line in the Cursor RL blog post saying they're collecting RL data from real users, updating the checkpoint every 90 to 120 minutes.
This would've been unthinkable if you told me it 12 months ago. What a wild year of reasoning models.
