If I founded a political thinktank to tell people how to do politics better, and named it after Harry Reid's hometown of Searchlight, Nevada, I would make a point of ensuring that conservatives didn't get to run unopposed in statewide races in Nevada

IANAL but couldn't this actually help state/local authorities get footage, etc. from the feds to prosecute Ross? Can't claim it would interfere with or disrupt a federal investigation
