BBC bosses completely fail to realise they’ve been wooing the very people who want rid of it. For the likes of Farage and Trump (and Johnson who installed Gibb) while they make a lot of noise about what the BBC gets wrong, it’s actually all the stuff they get right that’s most damaging.
Farage accuses the BBC of bias on Europe, immigration, the environment, Gaza, and Trump - to a hall of toadies roaring their approval.

And in the blink of an eye, turns to his actual employer "a much perkier GB News," then remembers "although I have to declare an interest." ~AA

Sorry to hear about your first wife

But people need to realise what private health is.

You are their meat.

Our NHS has been deliberately run down by politicians, underfunded & privatised, so it’s not what it should be.

But, fundamentally, it delivers care according to need not ability to pay.
Exactly.
True story: when my first wife died, I got lots of demands for uninsured excess charges. Most were $10 or $20, so I paid them. Then one for $1600 for an MRI. I checked the details before calling the provider. The alleged scan was done after she had been cremated and buried.

The BBC ought to be reporting this - and they don't need to fabricate anything.
We're probably going to find out this is projection, or at least it's going to give him ideas.

But the US private insurance healt model makes untold billions for the profiteering companies.

Which is what private medicine is all about - profit before patients.
Indeed, the US model costs most per capita of any country & delivers the worst outcomes of any wealthy country - for obvious reasons, it has inefficiencies & rentiers baked in.

Medicare for all could be done in one day.

Step 1 - Ban Health Insurance.
Step 2 - Enroll everyone in Medicare.
Step 3 - Alter Social Security Payments to pay for it.

Will be far, far cheaper than paying your current Health Insurance and your cover won't be 'maybe'.

Try this policy here in the UK and you'll be rightly shut down within a week.
Obviously this is ridiculous as a policy for employees but also as a customer my blanket preference from any people working in any store anywhere ever is “leave me the absolute fuck alone”

Smiling?? Eye contact?? TALKING TO ME???? Absolutely not!!!!
"Store employees are now required to smile if they are within 10 feet of a shopper.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.

It sure looks like their multi-million dollar donations are a way to curry favor.
