Blocking anyone who is mildly sus immediately and without particular emotional engagement is obviously the best way to go but once in a while it would be nice to have a block option that ALSO produces an animation of the profile being flushed down a toilet or maybe the text melting gruesomely away

I read to my jug of water in the summer.

Someone please explain this to young people:

Reading might not make you cooler.

But it does make you smarter.

And wiser.

And kinder.

And more interesting.

And way more attractive.

And okay, I lied, it DOES make you cooler.

It’s a dark day for research in Aotearoa New Zealand and the ramifications for the country are huge. Minister Judith Collins has just announced our blue-skies funder will no longer fund humanities & social science research and that 50% of what is funded must have economic benefit.

Adverbs are not going to magically unravel your novel.

A creation works not because of individual elements, but the balanced interaction of the constituents.

So, too many adverbs (like too many nouns, verbs, or adjectives) is probably not ideal.

But do not fear or blame the adverb.
