Sé que es un coñazo pero por favor es nuestra oportunidad para realmente generar un cambio mayor con el tema IA en España, por favor difundid y a lo largo de la semana entregad vuestro desacuerdo con los cambios en artículos 12 y 13, estas son algunas de las miles de razones para estar en contra
lo que podéis hacer para ayudar es hacer un pdf o documento de texto estableciendo que estáis completamente en desacuerdo con la nueva normativa en relación a los artículos 12 y 13 (los que se encargan del asunto) razones por la cual la IA no puede permitirse como parte del proceso artístico desde un punto de vista legal -La IA no es una herramienta necesaria y no es un ser humano, no se le puede adjudicar ningún tipo de contraprestación o responsabilidad, sea jurídica, económica, social o ética, creando problemas de todo tipo. -La IA no sólo permite, si no promueve el intrusismo laboral, creando un cuello de botella prácticamente insalvable para aquellos artistas que están comenzando sus carreras, matando el relevo generacional. -Lo anterior también no sólo destruye las oportunidades laborales y derechos de artistas incipientes y destruye el relevo generacional, si no que además dificulta la ya precaria situación laboral de muchos artistas ya establecidos gracias a la reducción de plantilla en empresas, el acortamiento de fechas de entrega ya imposibles (añadiendo una cantidad de horas sobrehumanas al trabajo) y la incrementada escasez de oportunidades laborales de un carácter independiente, privado o incluso público. -El nuevo artículo 12 establece garantizar por completo el reconocimiento de los artistas en sus derechos de propiedad intelectual y de las imágenes que se crean para los contratos de trabajo. El artículo 13 es incompatible con esta tarea. -La inteligencia artificial vulnera todos los derechos de propiedad intelectual ya que requiere para su uso y existencia el uso sin consentimiento y sin compensación económica o legal el tomar las imágenes de otros artistas. Es irrelevante si sólo se usa bajo marco y contrato consensuado entre el creador de esta imagen de IA y el cliente, su mera existencia incurre en prácticas ilegales. -La creación de modelos de inteligencia artificial de carácter generativo dentro de empresas incurre en el uso de los productos de sus trabajadores (con permiso bajo coerción (el miedo a perder el puesto en una economía frágil) y muchas veces, sin él) y luego el despido de los mismos, rápidamente generando una cascada de desempleo de dichos artistas y contribuyendo, una vez mas, a la precarización y la insostenibilidad del trabajo. -Es mencionada la preocupación sobre el artículo 13 de la posibilidad de que la IA vulnere las voces, imagenes e interpretaciones de los artistas, mientras que a su vez esto se ve completamente vulnerado con el permiso uso de dicha inteligencia artificial. La intención del artículo mismo es incompatible con el uso de la misma IA. -La IA genera y produce una singularidad: al utilizar todo tipo de influencias y alimentarse a sí misma todo adquiere un carácter completamente general y carente de influencias culturales, esto se ve reflejado en productos extremadamente genéricos que no expresan la identidad ni de artistas ni de sus culturas, España busca promover la difusión de arte y cultura de nuestro país y sus individuos por encima de productos genéricos, apostando por ayudas económicas y sociales a productos españoles que muestren dicha cultura y su riqueza. Jamás será posible la elaboración de arte con nuestra identidad cultural por medio de la IA, puesto que esta deriva sus tendencias de otros más influyentes en internet. Productos culturales reconocidos mundialmente como el flamenco, la arquitectura andaluza, el arte relacionado con la semana santa y mil y otros se verán desplazados y minimizados en todos los productos artísticos, si es que sobrevive su influencia, vulnerando su protección y saboteando los esfuerzos del propio país y gobierno. En resumen la Inteligencia Artificial promueve y vulnera derechos laborales e intelectuales sin importar su aplicación o contrato, contribuye al desempleo y pone en peligro la identidad cultural del arte español

Saw a lot of headlines saying "wikipedia is embracing ai" being tossed around tabloids, and I'm pretty sure they were maliciously written to make you feel a certain way about Wikipedia. What's actually happening is that wikipedia is demanding payment for data scraping and the corpos don't like that.

Sure. AI companies have ALWAYS been training their models on Wikipedia content, which under the free and open access model is available to anyone — including AI companies. Agreements like these require AI companies to limit and offset the strain they place on Wikimedia infrastructure.
