Politics reporter Gromer Jeffers writes:

Redistricting is one of the most unsettling words in politics. Republicans in the majority roll over the opposition. Democrats, the minority, stage quorum breaks and develop tactics to delay the inevitable passage of new boundaries that boost the GOP.
Texas redistricting will spark brutal fight that could spread across nation
A rare Texas redistricting effort is underway. What happens in the Lone Star State could have implications on the national political scene.

So irresponsible to their viewers. Nobody should watch this propaganda network.
The contents of the GOP tax bill are horrifically unpopular among those who are aware of them — but many aren't. Our data shows that Fox News is largely trying to avoid discussing them altogether.

We're preparing for hurricane season with a gutted FEMA.

3 red states make up half of damage claims. Florida leads with $450B in costs, followed by Texas & Louisiana.

Where will DeSantis find that much money to help residents recover? Don't count on Casey's HOPE Foundation!

In 2024, Biden signed into law a $105 billion measure designed to end a shortfall in air traffic controllers.

In 2025, Trump came in and instead began firing hundreds of them.

So you can see how *clear* it is that Biden is to blame for the shortage now.

Winning
JD Vance broke the National Championship trophy, then visited the Pope who died the next day, then visited India and a terrorist attack happened and war broke out, then endorsed his brother for mayor who lost 83-11%.

What’s next on the agenda?

Many of the same people who object to immigrants not coming here "the right way" have no problem with not deporting immigrants "the right way."

NEW 🧵

A quick thread of charts showing how Trump’s economic agenda is going so far:

1) US consumers are reacting very very negatively.

These are the worst ratings for any US government’s economic policy since records began.

— The Espionage Act contains a provision that criminalizes the disclosure of national secrets through gross negligence.

— The law does not require that the info be classified, it refers simply to national defense information.

The Massachusetts governor, the city, and the university needs to drop everything to locate and free this girl and make sure this doesn't happen again.

This is DEFCON-1. If they do this to someone who wrote an op-ed in a college newspaper, they will do this to anyone they don't like.
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

Rubio's gutting of USAID is illegal and unconstitutional. There is no form of democracy anywhere of any kind that would allow the executive branch to unilaterally cancel budgets and programs passed by the legislative branch and signed into law. It's utter lawlessness.
