Maybe superheroes fight giant monsters now because we can't ever see them fighting the systems of oppression.

I'm fascinated by what shitty cartoons from decades ago keep trying to make something new happen. Like, why are we doing He-Man again. Where's the Hammerman movie. Where's Widget The World Watcher.

We know the Masters of the Universe movie is gonna be bad, because it’s He-Man. But I’m worried it’s also gonna be no fun, because it looks like every superhero movie and Jared Leto is not Frank Langella.

Here's a fairly large and riotous flower oil painting on board that found a buyer. I think I only posted a photo of this in progress a month or so ago but not the finished painting. I won't attempt to name all the flowers but they're from my garden.

I would argue that the case for dismantling ICE has, at this point, virtually nothing to do with larger questions of immigration enforcement and reform, it's just clearly incompatible with a free and democratic society to maintain a secret police force with sweeping and arbitrary authority.

So my thing about avengers doomsday is… they didn’t even microdose Dr. Doom. He just gonna show up… ok.
