I don't think Anna Foster was playing nice! She was being the ultimate professional, staying very calm to keep trying to get to the truth. The Israeli spokespeople all have the same shout hectoring style whilst claiming that only they are right and everyone else is wrong. Well done Anna.
Any other broadcaster would have simply ended the interview, but the BBC has to play nice.

I hear Reform UK are campaigning in Scotland today. It would be tragic if this went viral again... ~AA
The expanded video of that Richard Tice car crash, during Reform UK's launch in Scotland, is somehow even funnier with subtitles.

- "John and Ross."
- "What councils are they from?"
- "John and Ross. Next question?" ~AA

Stop the genocide: Tom Fletcher @tomfletcherun.bsky.social speaks for Britain, and the world.
So, for those killed and those whose voices are silenced: what more evidence do you need?

Will you act now – decisively – to prevent genocide in Gaza and to ensure respect for international humanitarian law?

This Council must prevail. Demand this ends.

Just about the only interesting question about Liz Truss's Telegraph commentary "Trump has been proven right about pretty much everything" is whether the publication of this message by this messenger is now more damaging to the reputation of Donald Trump or to the reputation of Liz Truss.

Trump has fully turned on Zelenskyy: "He's always looking to purchase missiles. Listen, when you start a war, you gotta know you can win a war. You don't start a war against somebody that's 20 times your size and then hope that people give you some missiles."

It's often lost in the froth of Scottish political discourse, as Brown's post-PM career is largely framed by the constitutional debate, but he was always and remains an intellectual and political giant by modern standards.

Bottom line: Trump a week ago, Trump told America that the full tariff package was a “liberation”. Today, he largely, though not completely, reversed course. Therefore, by his own logic America is less liberated than it was. The weakest day of his presidency so far.

Why ARE BBC news not showing any of this. Is this control from the top of THE BBC?
I have never seen anything like this in NYC. 5th Ave covered from 42nd St well to the 20s. Nobody prepared for this volume. Volunteers are holding the traffic on all the side streets. No police in sight. #handsoff

Just admiring Sunder’s understated turn of phrase here.
Boris Johnson thinks reforms to academy schools/VAT on private education are a bigger issue than Andrew Tate and online influencers. Writing in the Mail, the former PM places no emphasis on the commitment or presence of fathers for bringing up sons, unlike other writers on this topic.
