This exactly. U.S. and European culture uniformly showing the villainy of the Nazis, and the heroism of the leaders and the millions of volunteers on the Allied side—Evelyn Waugh, Kurt Vonnegut, James Stewart, Audrey Hepburn!—every film, every TV show, every thriller in the bookshop. And now this?
It's weird thinking about all the history classes where we were sold ideas about decency, inclusiveness, democracy etc. Even if they were aspirational simplifications of nuanced history, I can't believe how many people were like, 'No. The Nazis were cool, slavery is good, ethnic cleansing is good.'

Previously, several of these companies, like Apple, IBM, and Disney, have paused advertising on X in response to antisemitic content. But antisemitism on X never slowed, sexual abuse imagery increased, and all of these companies quietly resumed advertising anyways.

This is such an important point. #PSB2026 -- a scientific meeting with lots of AI & biomedicine researchers -- was full of this sort of anthropomorphizing language. We as researchers need to be much more careful!

Bob and I were among the hundreds of researchers that were supposed to conduct the 6th U.S. National Climate Assessment. Now it looks like they're gonna produce it with a few people and Grok? Communities need rigorous and accurate information about climate change. This will put communities at risk.

I strongly encourage folks to talk to white Trump voters about ICE raids and mass deportation. Again, I talk to Trump voters constantly. I never stopped.
They're very open about this. They don't see it as a bad thing the way that you all do.🤷🏿♂️
