Arthur Street planter update: Honesty seed heads still standing, but battered. As is the sunflower! We keep old seed heads on the plants to feed wildlife. Fertilised with Vietnamese coffee grounds from Bami across Leith Walk.

🦇 'Bats' are more than one species. They are an incredibly diverse group of mammals with 1,500 species that we know of. There is a huge diversity of sizes, colours, nose shapes, ear shapes, diet, habitat and more!

The Redwing steals the show in today’s #AutumnArrivalSpotlight! 🍂

Their rusty red flanks and soft ‘seep seep’ calls are a sure sign of autumn as flocks sweep in overnight from icy Scandinavia, Iceland and Russia.
