The chocolate ghost peppers we grow have a great somewhat sweet/smokey flavor, and while they’re very hot, it’s a slow-build heat I find very enjoyable. (I don’t enjoy quick-hit heat that just makes you salivate nearly as much).

I think the sadder part of this, besides two weeks of silence for a half assed response, is that this platform had a chance to be awesome and you all massively fumbled it. A great community was handed to you with a bow and you still fucked it up and the best of this platform are leaving.

The job of the CEO is to take all the heat when the team makes a mistake and to give them all the credit when they succeed. Using the words “we’re sorry” and not “I’m sorry” shows you are still learning this. I recommend you seek executive coaching asap. It’s only going to get harder from here.

seems like things are going good over at Reddit where the company (led by its CEO “spez”) just launched its open pixel art canvas known as r/Place while users protest against recent Twitter-like API changes that killed third-party apps

my cynical take is that the relationship between big tech employer and employee is fully opportunistic

it's not about getting a gold watch when you retire

pay is high, tenures are short, and people don't actually want to work there, right? layoffs are bad but isn't this what everyone signed up for

Isn’t half the point of bsky that centralized moderation is an unsolvable problem? Only a tiny fraction of the network seems interested in this at all. Sad!

it seems people from reddit would be able to understand better how bluesky is intended to work than people from twitter insofar as moderation is concerned

Making one concentrated thread people can bookmark to be aware of things that happened on BlueSky. Others are free to throw in things that can be left out. Just posting articles I know of but to not have things scattered anymore (regard antiblackness , moderation, etc)

Hi! Wanna make a feed using the https://skyfeed.app/ tool?
Here's an easy way to get started.
Notes:
- In the builder tool, you won't see the feed on the right hand side until it has posts to show (ex. - you haven't tagged anything yet.) It still works!
- Might update a lil' slowly! Give it time.
