Great example of the need to decouple Broadway (the set of midtown theater spaces with 500+ seats) and Broadway (the style of high-budget, mid-brow theatre often staged there) in your mind.

TFW you paid $1400 to see Beckett’s most famous work without knowing anything about it
One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

SCOOP: Last year, Ubisoft cancelled an Assassin's Creed game set during Reconstruction. Was to feature a Black Assassin who, among other things, fought the rise of the Klan

Sources: Leadership nixed it over concerns re: U.S. political climate, backlash to Yasuke

"Gossamer" has better individual songs but as a whole I think Kindred's holistic focus on "things are looking up" makes it cohesive and worth returning to at least as much as their earlier sadder stuff

I know this one ended up in divorce but it would take a lot of work to convince me to view Passion Pit's "Kindred" as regrettable in any way

It's a given in the music industry that "I've fallen in love!" albums are usually regrettable, and "I've gotten a divorce!" ones often have some of the artist's best work. So question for the group, what are the best "I've fallen in love!" albums?

Taylor Swift training her fans to look for tiny clues in everything and then using AI promo videos for this latest scavenger hunt stunt is a very funny combination of things to happen. She’s got them looking at AI hallucinations and trying to decode them for meaning. Pop star induced schizophrenia

Also no subtitles! Raw uncut 165 minute block of television! Thank you for buying our DVD and also fuck you!

I watched this show on the official DVD which does not split it into episodes, so each disc is just as much footage as could fit. Disc 1 ends roughly halfway through the episode Jess and Josh are talking abouy
