This is, in my opinion, not only the correct moral/ethical/legal position but also the correct political framing. Everyone can see the agency is out of control; everyone can see that it is constantly violating human rights. "Scrap it and start over" is the moderate position.
Mamdani: "I am in support of abolishing ICE. What we see is an entity that has no interest in fulfilling its stated reason to exist. We're seeing a government agency that is supposed to be enforcing some kind of immigration law, but instead what it's doing is terrorizing people."

This is not a rational person. And this is deeply disturbing coming from an American President. NATO is not our enemy—they are unequivocally our closest friends and allies.

At this point, how can you not call into question the mental fitness of this President?

Federal agents are pulling over off duty cops based on the color of their skin.

This is not a serious operation to enforce immigration law. It’s a performative show of force and it’s gotten way out of hand.

Temu and Shein’s American sales dried up as shoppers were hit with higher prices and baffling import bills from new tariffs. But as the holiday shopping season kicks off, Temu and Shein have defied predictions of doom.
Analysis | Americans can’t quit buying cheap Chinese stuff
Shoppers fled when Temu and Shein were hit by a Trump administration double whammy. This holiday season, shoppers are (kind of) back.

If you are counting on tariffs to help dramatically cut the deficit - then you're going to need much higher tariffs.

Uncle Sam brought in $31 billion in import duties in October - while the overall budget deficit was $284 billion.

Putin aide Yuri Ushakov called the leaked chat with U.S. envoy Witkoff “very unusual,” blaming WhatsApp and hinting someone wanted it exposed. He claimed neither side wanted the leak, but compared it to the Flynn case, suggesting Witkoff might have enemies in D.C.

Yeah right.

Trump envoy Steve Witkoff has been outed as a Russian asset. This is traitorous stuff.
Steve Witkoff helped Russia derail Ukraine’s access to Tomahawk missiles. He tipped off the Kremlin about Zelensky’s U.S. visit, giving Moscow time to arrange a call that convinced Trump to block the deal. Witkoff actively works against Ukraine’s defense, in coordination with Putin’s regime.

Three things about the Witkoff tapes:

1) It appears Western intelligence services have decided to let Witkoff (and Trump) know they have recordings of their traitorous conversations w/Russia.

2) This Ukraine "deal" was all Witkoff's idea.

3) Congressional leaders should demand he be fired.

I guess those foreigners are getting into everything now.
Don't buy it, it's all make believe.
