Aamulenkin keskeytti eilen tuore laaja avohakkuu, rujo ja kauhea autiomaa. Tuli tosi surullinen ja samalla vihainen olo. Mökkimaisemissa täällä P-Karjalassa metsän omistus on tilkkutäkkimäistä, ja yks sun toinen hakkauttaa rahat pois. (Jotta kuluttajat voivat ostavat wc-paperia ensikuidusta.) 1/2

Tanska poistaa #kirja n arvonlisäveron torjuakseen #lukutaito heikkenemistä. Suomi on päinvastaisella tiellä, sillä kirjojen alv nousi 10% -> 14% vuoden alussa. Kirjastot eivät maksa ostamistaan kirjoista alvia, mutta epäsuorat vaikutukset ovat mahdollisia. 1/2

Ahaa, eli rumpin hallinnossa ajatellaan, että Eurooppa tulee hankkimaan energiansa USAn fossiilitoimijoilta. Miten se tullisopimus menikään.... Ei kai missään tapauksessa kuitenkaan noin..?

This is what happens when we make "the law" the ultimate arbiter of right and wrong, instead of recognizing that "rule of law" is merely what the rulers claim the law to be. We change our laws to comport with our values, not the other way round.

Netanyahu's plan to occupy Gaza city does not involve direct military rule over its population. The idea is to expel estimated 1m people into the "humanitarian zone" in the south with some non-committal talk about providing them with more medical aid and food.
