I don't repost videos or screenshots of POW executions, but this is such an important point.

russia r*pes, c*strates, and b*heads Ukrainian POWs on camera. Any "peace" plan that ignores or normalizes that is absolutely worthless.

1) Start the worst European war since 1945 and commit every imaginable war crime
2) Decide how you want to be rewarded for your aggression
3) Leak the list of your desiderata to the US press
4) Wait for the US president to enforce your wish list on your victim.

It’s evening in Europe, I know.

But I just cannot comprehend anymore how people believe NATO security guarantees for Poland, the Baltics, Finland, Germany etc will work and are our security backbone, when they have read the U.S. „peace plan“.

Are you serious you still believe in any of that? 🤯

Today Ukrainians around the world remember the victims of the #Holodomor. The Soviet made famine in 1932/32 which became genocidal in Ukraine and cost millions of lives.

From the „peace plan“.

Once Russia will be ready for the next pieces of Ukraine, this 👇 will be an easy way to evade any U.S. security guarantees to Ukraine by simply staging some Russian false flag actions.

If European leaders contemplate whether they can afford the costs & risks of supporting 🇺🇦 alone, withstand their pro-Russian far-right parties, explain hardship to their people:

They should not forget whether they can „afford“ millions of new refugees leaving Ukraine for central & Western Europe.

Also another reminder that <10 people in Washington - all of whom are Republicans & all of whom keep getting total daily free passes from the media about their cowardice - could end most of the madness tomorrow by simply caucusing with the Democrats & giving them control of both the House & Senate.
Suddenly the special election in TN-07 becomes potentially hugely consequential. It shouldn’t be competitive, but if Democrats steal it, when Greene resigns the Republican majority will be down to 218-216 w a sure Dem seat with no special scheduled in Texas.
Just catching up; what’s the significance of Jan 5? Does waiting until then affect when the special will be scheduled?

The test for European leaders is easy, actually: don’t validate Putin or Trump. You will legitimize them. You will get „more“ of them.

That should resolve all questions — if anybody was in doubt about how to react.
So now it's a "US plan" which rhe Russians can therefore toughen further ar their convenience
Putin confirmed Russia has received the 28‑point U.S. peace plan and said it could serve as a foundation. Yet he stressed it was only discussed in broad strokes and details are needed.

Of course he says this could form a foundation. It's better than the so-called 'Istanbul agreements' in 2022.

So, Europeans have five days to F I N A L L Y realize that we have been deserted by the U.S. admin & must take security in our own hands.

Further denial of reality, sucking up to the king, search for crazy rationalizations of our inaction — they are dangerous for 🇺🇦, us & the opposition in the U.S.

Groundhog Day. We are just going through the same cycle again & again & again.

US admin repeats RU propaganda, UKR & Europeans tell them that it’s unacceptable.

US admin seeks some different deal with RU, this fails.

US admin tries to get a bit tougher on RU, feels it fails.

Cycle starts again.

EU scholars should be fired if they don’t cause at least one European crisis for the EU to grow from. 😉
Let's hold academics to real standards.

Peace scientists should be fired if they don't end at least one war.

Political economists should be fired if they don't make at least one non-corrupt administration.

Data scientists should be fired if they don't install Python at least once \w no errors.

Yesterday will mark a major turning point – the collapse of the European Parliament's decades-old centrist governing majority.

It's the end of an era, and the beginning of another.
The EU Parliament now has a right-wing majority
President von der Leyen's centre-right EPP yesterday broke the centrist coalition, joining with the far right in order to pass the climate deregulation demanded by Trump.

The fact that this, and every other Trump pardonee who has subsequently broken the law, has not ended Trump's political career, that it barely even registers on the national discourse, underlines just how far we are from a functioning democracy that values accountability.
A man pardoned by Donald Trump for his role in January 6th - he assaulted Capitol Police officers with bear spray & a metal whip - has avoided prison for child sex crimes because of the president’s sweeping pardon, despite pleading guilty to soliciting what he believed was a 15-year-old girl for sex
