Though I admit it's a small sample size, every time I've played a new remaster of an old game I liked, the remaster has been worse. Again, not a ton of examples, but zero counterexamples so I'm kinda over remasters honestly.

Spoke to my source familiar with internal workings at Mastercard. The holiday call campaign re payment processor censorship is working, there is a lot of pressure being felt from your calls. This is resulting in increased response times at a core moment for Mastercard due to the holiday season

Not only are people using AI slop for the visual/audio assets of these game-based multimedia products we call video games (and by extension, tabletop games too), they also want to use AI to make the actual "game" part too. But it can't even *do* that!

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.
