Our wedding.

Our story begins on a bright spring morning in 1995. Our wedding day.

This was a picture taken that morning. Don’t we look adorable? Don’t we look wholesome?

Color photograph of me and @ekseebacher.bsky.social. I am 24 years old in this picture, a young white man with long red hair, wearing a top hat, a morning coat and a blue ascot. She is 30 years old, a young white woman with long red hair, wearing a dark green gown and a floral tiara. There are early spring woods in the background and we both have enormous smiles on our faces.

U.S. Northern Command says that elements of the Texas national guard are now “employed in the greater Chicago area.”

The statement claims that they’ve been deployed to protect ICE and federal property.

Still frame from the 2025 movie ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER, showing Perfidia Beverly Hills (played by Teyana Taylor, a young Black woman), wearing a red plaid shirt, unbuttoned over an extremely pregnant belly, camouflage pants, black combat boots and a black watch cap, standing in a field against an overcast sky and target-firing a full auto machine gun while screaming.

I have to admit that it would actually be kind of amazing to watch Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter do "Godot" exactly as written while in their Bill and Ted personas.

One Star Review of Waiting for Godot on Broadway
I recently attended Waiting for Godot on Broadway and spent over $1,400 for two Row C seats (103 and 104). I'm a longtime admirer of Broadway productions and even hold a season pass for Shea's Performing Arts Theatre, so I came in with genuine enthusiasm and high expectations. Unfortunately, this show was unlike anything ! have ever experienced —and not in a good way.
What I encountered was not the artistry, music, or emotional storytelling I usually associate with Broadway, but instead what felt like an endless cycle of nonsensical conversation between characters who seemed trapped in their own madness. I tried-truly tried-to find meaning, symbolism, or even a thread of emotional resonance. I stayed through the first half hoping the second would offer clarity. But by intermission, it was clear: this was a waste of both time and money.
Keanu Reeves is an actor I respect greatly, but I cannot fathom why he would agree to participate in such a disjointed, inaccessible production. His talent was lost in a performance that defied reason rather than provoked insight.
To anyone considering attending: unless you are drawn to highly abstract, nearly incomprehensible theater, I strongly caution you against this show. For the average, educated, thoughtful theatergoer, it is far more frustrating than fulfilling. In my opinion, this was the single most disappointing Broadway experience I've ever had - an unfortunate waste of money and, more importantly, of time.

Bray is a historian at Rutgers who received death threats after landing on Turning Points USA's Professor Watchlist. As a result, he announced he was moving to Europe. And then this happened.

This kind of harassment and abuse of scholars is Charlie Kirk's legacy and it's only getting worse.

GREAT NEWS from Leander ISD. To Kill a Mockingbird, House on Mango St, and Narrative of Life of Frederick Douglass will be returned to classrooms after a massive outcry. Thanks to everyone who spoke up!!!

From an email to teachers today:
*An important update regarding the books that
were previously paused from curriculum use as a
result of concerns around Senate Bill 12.
Thirty-six of the forty books are being reinstated
to the secondary curriculum book list, with
revisions made to the curriculum to ensure TEKS
alignment and compliance with SB 12. Four
titles, Stamped, Melissa (George), Gracefully
Grayson, and The 57 Bus, will remain paused for
additional review of curriculum alignment. Please
note that all books, including these four, should
remain available, or be returned if removed, to
classroom libraries for individual student choice
reading.
