In case you forgot, we already had a showdown between the power of democracy and authoritarianism. Democracy won the Cold War. Why would anyone think our "wokeness" is a liability? Russia already lost to us. Why are we trying to emulate a losing strategy??

America built the world's strongest military. A military so powerful we could give a fraction of our capacity to Ukraine and hold off the second most powerful military on the world. We were untouchable. Why the fuck are we abandoning the winning strategy to copy Russia?

Six days into Trump's monarchical reign of terror, the Philadelphia Inquirer's editorial board refuses to cower or bend its knee

Today, a powerful condemnation of Trump's pardon of violent Jan. 6 domestic terrorists as a gross abuse of presidential power www.inquirer.com/opinion/edit...

America is not woke. We rank 25th in economic freedom and have the worst maternal death rates and poverty rates in the developed world. What we have is the Constitution. With warrantless ICE raids being championed, it's clear the 14th and 4th amendments are now optional. What is next?

Pete Hegseth believes our "woke" military is a problem. The 2nd most powerful military belongs to Russia. Ukraine was able to hold off Russia using some of America's scaled down tech, meaning that a fraction of our woke military, across an ocean is a worthy adversary to a land army close to home.

It is not all men, but Matt Gaetz, Trump, Hegseth are those men. They rape, steal and disrespect with full immunity and experience no consequences for their actions when exposed. They show no shame and normalize the idea that terrible people make good leaders.
