The chapter of RFK’s most recent book - that he wrote to defend his belief that COVID was actually a weapon designed to target white people and spare certain groups like Jewish people - in which he talks about how he does not believe germs actually cause disease is called “The White Man’s Burden.”

I would say ABC should be ashamed of themselves but I spent enough to time in TV to know networks have no shame. What they have are shareholders & corporate owners. We have a POTUS who refers to a Governor as ‘Newscum’ and it gets accepted by news orgs but calling out evil isn’t.

Trump has been doing his ‘the press is the enemy’ shtick for ten years this summer. So a 25 year-old who suddenly finds himself on deployment w/o specific training for urban protests has been told the press are the bad guys since they were 15. MAGA is a threat to us all.
The fact that so many were so eager to shoot at the press is a big tell fyi.
