Oh boy. @johnkaralis.com seeing Tatum at 10 and who is ahead of him especially 6-9 makes the @lockedonnba.bsky.social Top 100 lose ALL credibility with me.

Tell me your kid is autistic without telling me: A (age 16) to friend while gaming: “I’m using a spreadsheet to decide which drawings I’m doing for expedition 33 in what order.” Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 being the video game he’s obsessed with currently and drawing. Up first: the Dualliste.

It shouldn't be up to American children to save each other from getting shot.

It's the job of American adults to stop shootings from happening in the first place.

Ban assault weapons again now.

Humble (well maybe not) Dad brag. My son didn’t win any academic awards, but he was 1/3 kids in his grade of 300+ kids to win a KINDNESS award. (He just got rewarded at camp for this too which reminded me). His academics are good too. He doesn’t like me to brag or post but folks KINDNESS counts.

Sometimes you have to type it out to fully grasp what has just happened.

Must read. The attack on disabled children is a feature, not a bug. It is gross, diminishes our humanity as a society and impoverishes our economy.

Your daily reminder that Congress DOES NOT HAVE TO CUT MEDICAID.

It is a choice by the GOP.

They want to cut spending for the poor to use the money to pay for a tax cut for the rich... Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and others.

Have heard something along the lines of "Cedric Coward has an AMAZING story" on ESPN programming at least three times this week, with some details about his life—but alas no reference to who reported and published said amazing story.

Good news! You can read it right here ⤵️
There have been 8,315 men selected into the NBA in 78 years.

None of them took as unlikely of a path as what Cedric Coward has walked.

Big feature on an incredible guy who went from zero-star prospect, a terrible D-III team to first-round lock. It is a story without parallel in basketball history.
Cedric Coward's path to the NBA Draft shouldn't be possible
Coward's inconceivable rise from D-III obscurity to lock first-round pick is a journey basketball's never seen.

WAY more to come from me on this trade (and probably the team too!), but the Boston Celtics are now out of the second apron by $4.5M.

The Celtics are $7.4M over the first apron and about $15.4M over the luxury tax.

For those wonder:

Here's the crazy thing with Bill Russell "only" making All-NBA First Team three times:

Three of the years Russell was named NBA MVP, he was named to the All-NBA Second Team:

1957-58
1960-61
1961-62

Not really sure how much sense that makes, but that's what happened!
Jayson Tatum is the fifth Celtic to make at least four All-NBA First Teams.

He joined the following Celtics in that achievement:

🏀Bob Cousy (10 times)
🏀Larry Bird (nine times)
🏀John Havlicek (four times)
🏀Bill Sharman (four times)
