A pretty basic FBI rule of thumb is to always go into an interview knowing more than they think you know. No way Blanche digested the whole Epstein/Maxwell case. Original prosecutor fired. No FBI agents. Victims left out. How did he know how to test her credibility? What follow up questions to ask?

If George Takei living to see this atrocity again doesn't break your heart, you don't have one.
When I was little, the U.S. military came to our home at gunpoint and took me and my family away. We were imprisoned for years in barbed wire camps simply because we were Japanese American. I have spent my life telling that story, hoping it would never be repeated.

Juneteenth would normally be an opportunity for bad faith comms from the GOP. Emancipation was achieved under a GOP presidency. Juneteenth was first celebrated officially statewide by a GOP governor (Texas in 1980). It should be a GOP point of pride, but the emancipated were Black people. So, no.

Over the weekend, the Library of Congress posted this video message Dr. Carla Hayden, whom Donald Trump unjustifiably dismissed as Librarian of Congress, that makes clear how much the nation has lost.

Props to whoever put it up. I hope everyone watches it.

The SAVE Act is a poll tax.

Over 69 million women would have to get new IDs to vote under the SAVE Act—all of which, except military IDs, cost money.

As @mcclellan.house.gov explained, whether it’s $1,000 or 1¢, no one should have to pay to vote.

Too many Americans don't understand, at a basic level, *why* the Constitution requires due process when the government deprives anyone of their life, liberty, or property.
