Who’s putting it at risk, @sfn.org ?

This passive voice stuff has got to stop. We have to name the people destroying US leadership in science.
(Hint: Trump. Vought. Bhattacharya. RFK. Say their names.)
"The U.S. has been a world leader in research for decades, and that leadership position is now at risk," said SfN President John H. Morrison in a new NPR article.

OK until the final 3 posts when *waves hands* fascism disappears.

Why dwell on banal arguments and bail when you arrive at the main point of contention? What's with all the 'yes men' in the comments, applauding a magic trick? The fascism didn't really disappear, you just fell for a diversion.
My mistake has been trying to explain what "fascism" is to people who don't care what it is.

So I'm going to try something else. Let's do this as a practical thought exercise.

If America *were* fascist *today* - what would you have to do differently in your daily life? /1

His sincere updates on his attempted relationship with a student are so creepy and cringe, and then you remember the person Larry Summers is pouring his heart out to is DISGRACED CHILD SEX TRAFFICKER JEFFREY EPSTEIN, IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD TWO THOUSAND AND EIGHTEEN
The emails have Summers reporting to Epstein about his attempts to date a Harvard economics student & to hit on her during a seminar she was giving.
