I’m glad to see Bill say this. But when after a century of just the type of abuse we saw today - relentless and cruel, ensnaring our children and intimidating our communities - young Black people said in frustration, anger, and demand for change “defund the police” - so many of you denounced them.

The 300,000 dead Americans claim is made up, but if he really cared about US deaths, he would do something about the US opioid crisis. He would do something about US health care. Invading a sovereign country has nothing to do with saving US lives and everything to do with enriching himself.

I think it's worth pointing out that no political party is running the US govt. If the president has twisted the GOP into a rubber stamp, there is no political process happening, and the whims of the Trump family (mostly wealth accumulation) are what drive the policy of the nation.

My bank is raising the minimum balance from $100 to $250. If you have less than that, you get hit with a "maintenance" fee. Yet another attack on those who are living paycheck to paycheck. You shouldn't be charged fees for not having enough money.

New York City went 12 days without a murder in November / December. That's tied for the longest stretch in history, according to the NYPD. As someone who was here when there were 6+ murders per day in this town, it continues to amaze me how safe the place is.
