I won’t say what I want to say but this is unethical.
You don’t put 7.3% of cancer patients on a treatment and leave the rest to see how they get on.
Trans healthcare is the only branch where this is allowed to happen.
Puberty blockers were the compromise and they’ve taken that away.

every time I watch SVU with my mom (it's her favorite show, I'm not the one who suggests putting it on) I always make the joke that if you took a shot every time the cops on that show violated someone's rights or overstepped their power that you'd be dead before the end of the first episode.
Fun fact: this is explicitly why Dick Wolf created Law & Order: he violently hates defense attorneys and felt tere weren't enough shows about how defendants and their lawyers are scum
(also when somebody "gets off on a technicality" that actually means the cops committed a crime against them)

doing a painting of basil from omori and am really proud of how the anatomy turned out. I normally suck at getting legs to have dynamic positions but this turned out pretty good if the sketch is anything to go by.

been thinking of investing in an ipad mini for portable digital painting and I find it funny how most of the reviews were made moot by the 7th gen because the newer gen has 2x the ram.

like this applies to detransitioners too in many ways: cis people tend to view any GNC, trans, or even trans-adjacent person as inherently tainted.
If I cut my hair short, stopped taking HRT, and got top surgery people wouldn't suddenly treat me with respect.

now I'm also not gonna swing too far to the other extreme and act like being a GNC trans person makes you inherently radical because there is no form of trans expression that is inherently radical: it is all hated by cis society.

Like if you find yourself calling certain kinds of trans expression "fetish bait" ask yourself what makes you different from the transphobic pundits calling being trans itself a fetish. Policing expression like that just makes transphobes stronger.
I often find myself falling into these lines of thought as well. I have to smother those thoughts though because they are the spore that transmedicalist ideology sprouts from and I'd rather die than hate my trans siblings that much.
