I’ve got an eSIM as a second line and it’s turned off, can use it for WhatsApp but it won’t receive calls / texts while off, I use this now for this kinda stuff and when people need my number where there’s a potential security issue.

I mean in 2018 there was quite a high profile intimidation of trans people at Pride in London when they stormed the front of the march then went the whole way down handing out hate leaflets but sure Jan 🙄

Also every trans rights march has terfs, every trans event at speakers corner they come and try to cause violence.

Totally agree, it’s a complex and nuanced issue depending on sport / factors but what’s wrong with saying “as long as it’s fair what’s the issue”

“How can it be fair?”

Then you can get into the research and rules since 2003 etc rather than a sound bite battle.

I thought after this that it might be an idea to call this out, it happens a lot the “can a woman have a penis” thing and Zack’s answer was good but you can also say “why don’t you just say what you really want to say, are trans people real, do they deserve to live with dignity” turn it back on them

The new Aussie critique of the Cass Review does not pull its punches about its failures, & makes the point that "gender-critical beliefs" should be declared.

Since transphobes have made so much of having these protected by law, they should be required to declare them.
