So the tax threshold will hit all workers and the mansion tax ended up being like 0.12% or 0.15%

The EV pay per mile will slow adoption, reminder EV’s were free but will be £195 a year next year then from 2028 as well as £200+ a year it’ll get 3+p per mile

Thats just the headline stuff.

Currently out of the UK on a family holiday, just saw what’s trending and have to say I’m in the right place, anywhere but the UK where trans people can get no justice and no freedom from harassment.

Gaslighting CU**

The expert scientific advice says they're safe and effective, you ignored that advice and cherry picked a crank like Cass to set out to come to the conclusion you need to help you sleep at night.

I hope you rot in hell, you know what you're doing, we don't be fooled, sick sick man

This is the thing, the BTP, like all police forces, cannot be trusted by the trans community to such a degree that a trans person was physically assaulted so violently and still won’t seek their help, they have to plead for them to come forward.

This is so damning.

I need more people to understand this, the level of pathologisation trans people face to access care.

A reminder the WHO declassified being trans as a mental health issue 6 years ago.
Cis people, how many times have you been asked to describe how you masturbate, and what you think about when you do, to access healthcare on the NHS?

Already seeing some terrible takes on here about supporting science re the puberty blocker trial.

Science that is unethical & designed terribly, influenced by those who don't want us to exist, is never ever going to lead to useful outcomes.

& this trial will cause immense harm to participants.

Real questions in the puberty blocker study:

How happy are you with your nose? Would like like to change it by surgery?

How happy are you with your shoulders? Would like to change them by surgery?

How happy are you with your hips? Would like to change them by surgery?

@zackpolanski.bsky.social it would be nice to shine a light on this and the treatment of WellBN @sophiemolly.co.uk is trying to draw your attention too.

The NHS trial barely covers 7% of those on the waiting list and is run be anti trans conversion therapists.

This isn’t right.
Under new NHS puberty blocker trial protocols, trans youth are being subjected to more than 50 assessments, intrusive exams, and over 13 hours of intrusive testing - just to access lifesaving healthcare

It demands young people re-live distress & undergo intimate examinations

It was such a privilege to be asked and I hope I spoke well.

Ffs @sumsung.bsky.social yes I uninstalled it because you put GB News front and centre, what kind of pop up is this? I’m watching cartoons from my Amazon cube with my child and you throw this at me, terrible user experience, so intrusive.

Tell me again about the BBC’s Pro Trans bias,,, 🙄
This report does not quote any trans children, or parents of trans children, or any trans people at all.

It does quote Keira Bell saying it’s “disgusting”, though.

I won’t say what I want to say but this is unethical.

You don’t put 7.3% of cancer patients on a treatment and leave the rest to see how they get on.

Trans healthcare is the only branch where this is allowed to happen.

Puberty blockers were the compromise and they’ve taken that away.
The trail will involve 220 children.

Meanwhile 3000 another children seeking health care for their gender dysphoria will be placed on an ‘observational’ study.

The old ‘watch and wait’ is how Alice was treated. Although this time there might be someone actually watching, this is not health care.🧵
Puberty Blocker clinical trials to begin
on the NHS

- The trial will involve around 220 children under 16
- Young people will “undergo intensive medical and psychological screening”, including Gillick competency evaluation
- Trial: Group 1 will get PBs straight away vs Group 2, 12 months later

Each TDOR I mark I get angrier and angrier at the toll cis people are inflicting on us.

I carry the sorrow of far too many lives lost needlessly to cis oppression and violence.

They will all be remembered.

Their memories will not be erased

We will not be erased.

As bad as this is it’s what we knew / expected and it’s why Phillipson hasn’t rubber stamped it, the govt lawyers know it’s batshit crazy and illegal.

This is just the EHRC and Times continuing to lobby the govt to approve it.

I believe this is the thrashing of a failed attempt.

My wife just read about this and broke down crying on the sofa "what has happened to this country, we're supposed to protect people"

A sickening dereliction of morals by Labour
“It isn’t people seeking sanctuary who are tearing our country apart. It’s toxic, racist narratives and the scapegoating of migrants for crises they did not cause.”
