I’m gonna skip over the part where “white people” typically refers to people who benefit from white supremacy to point out that whiteness is one such lever and power, even institutional power, rests with demographics.
For clarity: I’m Black. And my point stands no matter who says it—power sits in institutions, not demographics. Let’s argue levers (labor, budgets, benches, boards), not melanin.
