For the record:
My spine.
It was broken for two years prior to the surgery that placed those screws, but not one doctor bothered to look for it. I was labeled faker, drugseeker, junkie, addict. One X-ray was all it took; none of Boston’s finest medical facilities did it. My rage matches his.

Today, insurance companies and opiophobia still make my life hell; my pain is not well controlled.

Vast, vast majority of trans people aren't going to leave the country. Many can't leave the areas they're currently in.

If trans survival/liberation are something one cares about, at all, that's the reality.

Tramadol (dog medicine) doesn't work. Trazadone gave us dark, disturbed sleep.

My senior cohorts & I knew that those were ineffective decades ago, don't recommend them or prescribe them.

them tall gangly guys can't do a damn thing once you get in close (skilled basketball players are the exception). they can't get my head in their armpit or elbow hook & I am NOT above getting a good grab hold while I kick their knee in. Have headbutted the package; satisfying but hurt my neck lol

I’m 4’ 10” and people who’ve tried it have learned not to do it again. I played rugby in highschool, nuff said 😇
I don’t have a problem with my masculinity because of my height, but “short guy syndrome” is sadly very real.
