I remember very early on in my self-publishing journey, someone told me that self pub books are held to a higher standard than traditionally published books when it comes to typos and such. & in my experience that does check out. I’ve seen indie books get chewed out…
Something I've noticed that bothers me a whole lot is that no indie creator is reamed more for *everything* than indie authors. With literally any other medium people are willing to forgive some issues due to just one person or a small team working on something... but indie books better be PERFECT
