So imagine a comfy slice of life anime like Yuru Camp

Except that anytime the characters are outside you can always see that they are on a Bishop ring/O'Neill cylinder/McKendree cylinder or some other space megastructure

and this fact is never addressed by anyone but is always in the background

For your holiday ambiance, I've made a hypnotic yule log fireplace with ultra slow motion macro footage of flames stretching & warping like liquid as fire reacts with calcium chloride & barium. This is real fire I filmed, not CGI or AI.

10hrs, 4K, crackling sounds, no music, no ads. Happy holidays!

So Weiss failed to 1) protect her newsroom and reporters 2) understand public perception 3) comprehend the impact of her own actions 4) REALIZE THEY ALREADY SENT THE EPISODE TO CANADA WHERE PEOPLE HAVE THE INTERNET AND CAN BROADCAST IT TO THE REST OF THE WORLD

It used to be that the United States would use Voice of America and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty to transmit truth across the borders of repressive regimes.

Now the work of American reporters, having been censored, is being smuggled across the border to reach Americans.
The 60 Minutes piece on the Trump Administration’s torture prison that Bari Weiss doesn’t want you to see has leaked.

I've heard about planet WASP-76b showing hints of optical phenomenon called Glory. It looks like iridescent rings caused by liquid droplets in clouds. In this case the liquid droplets are made out of molten metal in the clouds of this hot Jupiter planet.

Surely big corporate America is going to jump in to fill the internet time vacuum, expanding the seconds during the work day and contracting them at night. We’ll all be wondering why it feels like we’ve been working half the day suddenly.

You might be thinking, "CPSC, does a dry Christmas tree really burn that much faster than a well-watered tree?"

Friend, let's find out together by watching this PSA.

Oh whoa no fucking way you mean to tell me that when the only money in a country is several billion fake dollars getting hot potatoed between several firms in one industry, it means there's no money and everything is fucked???

What good is disapproval if few act on it? I don't totally understand what poll rating statements are doing for us at this point other than making us look terrible for saying we don't like something we don't care enough to stop.

I know this is a bold stance in America, but I simply do not believe we should be declaring war on another country for “stealing our oil” when the oil is, in fact, under the ground of that other country

Jesus fucking Christ, America. We are a shithole country with a shithole president and a shithole congress that does nothing to stop this entirely preventable violence. Fuck your guns and fuck you.

So if I’m reading the federal REAL ID Act of 2005 correctly, a driver’s license with a star is deemed sufficient by DHS to enter government installations and nuclear facilities, but the very same Department cannot verify whether an individual with this document is permitted on US soil? Impressive

I shit you not, the best movie experience I ever had was Beavis and Butthead. A bud and I went on opening night and the theater was packed, people standing in the aisles, clearly oversold. Cheers when they first came on screen, the place was lit the whole show. Best movie fun I’ve ever had.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.
